Kansas City Artist
Kansas City is my home. I Love it! I want to KNOW it. I already know it has a lot to offer.
The best way for me to get to know something is to Paint it.
Maybe you've seen some of my work, if so...I hope you enjoyed it. I remember the work of working it all out and then joy of completing it. Watching the reactions.
I paint with a passion and will never grow tired of it. I do make time to teach to share that joy.
But I have to admit that doing it myself is by far the most fun for me. You dream up the image, see it after sometimes weeks of imaginings work through the details then finally ready the palette. The most fun for me is attacking the canvas ~ contaminating the surface with that first stroke of colour. And you must appreciate this gift from God. The gift of seeing like an artist but also the gift of time to become this artist. Doing what you know you've been put here to do reminds me to thank Him and to Him give the Glory.
But let me tell you, until you've spent hours in the Zone you just don't know what you're missing. Finally, pulling it all together with final touches, pushing and pulling ~ knocking back ~ emphasizing ~ CREATING. That's a healty happy.
